The Association of Private Enterprise Education (APEE) provides support to younger scholars seeking to attend and participate in the Association’s 46th Meeting, scheduled for April 3-5, 2022 at Paris Las Vegas and Bally’s Las Vegas in Las Vegas, NV. The APEE Young Scholars Program is made possible through the generous support of donors to the Association. The program provides financial support to both first-time and returning participants in the APEE Meeting.
Successful applicants receive a reduced registration fee of $80.00 (the standard fee is $499.00) and a stipend to offset travel expenses to attend and participate in the meeting. Current graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and early career assistant professors are eligible to apply for an award through the APEE Young Scholars Program.
Prior recipients of two or more Young Scholars Program grants should not expect to receive another award.
To apply, please provide the following to the Young Scholars Program Committee:
- A short essay (250-300 words) explaining why the applicant wishes to attend the meeting;
- A short letter of reference, preferably from an APEE member or someone known to APEE, indicating why support should be provided to the nominee; and
- A brief note from the applicant’s department chair, graduate director, or supervisor indicating the level of institutional support that the applicant can expect.
All applications should be submitted by email with PDF attachments to firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline for applications is Monday, January 31, 2022.
Those applicants selected to receive a Young Scholars Program award will be notified by Friday, February 4, 2022. Successful applicants will be required to register for the conference by Friday, March 4, 2022.
Interested applicants should review the 46th Meeting Call for Papers and the 46th Meeting Conference pages for more information. They may also contact the APEE office by email at email@example.com or by phone at (806) 742-7138.
